My experience with letsbuy.com for a TV purchase has been very bad.

Placed order of Samsung Series 5 LED TV UA32D5900EA (UA32D5900VR) from letsbuy.com on 24th Oct 2011 with Samsung Company offer of a Blueray player free plus a surprise Diwali gift on offer by Letsbuy.com. On each followup I was told that both items are in stock and will be shipped soon. They shipped TV on 28th shipped only TV and said I have to wait for Blueray player. I was fine with the wait as atleast TV was getting shipped.
Surprise and frustration – once the TV was delivered on 29th Oct. It was an old used TV most likely a dealer demo / display unit with old manufacturing date – all user manuals, cards, remote accessories were used and open from original covers and packed again with tape. Even TV cover and internal packing material, box shows that box was stored for many months and TV used. On screen one can see that some one has cleaned the screen and packed it again with a number of old used tapes inside the box. In service menu it shows TV used for around 600 hours. This is totally different from Letsbuy.com's promise they have on website "Letsbuy only sells 100% genuine and brand new products". This delivery was definitely was not the case that supports this claim.
Panel Display Time (time for which TV has been used is ~600 hours). Considering July manufacturing and assuming usage started in August till 27th Oct, some one has used this set for an average of 7 hours every day. Most likely a dealer/distributor showroom display piece.
See images below which I have also shared with letsbuy - their customer service and their CEO Mr. Hitesh Dhingra. As per my call with him looks like Samsung dealer or distributor has cheated them and so caused this. They have promised a replacement in 1-2 days. I will update on final outcome.
I will write separately on their customer service aspects.
Intent of Mr. Hitesh Dhingra, co-founder and CEO and Amanpreet Bajaj, co-founder and COO of Letsbuy.com and others in Letsbuy Management may be good and I hope they are successful but they need to work on customer service, supply chain and their infrastructure if they really want letsbuy to be a relevant player in ecommerce in India.

Sites like this creates bad impression about online shopping. Before this I was just wondering why people don't use online shopping, Now i got my answer.
Mr. Amanpreet bajaj and Hitesh dhingra were seen as young and bright face of india, But now they are spoiling face of whole country by doing this. Although eCommerce sites helped allot in growth of India but sites like letsbuy just pushing our country back.
I agree. My online shopping experience with other sites have been good so far - specifically ebay.in, flipkart, zoomin camera store, Homeshop18. From Zoomin I bought a 22K worth of Sony Camera and it was delivered in an excellent factory sealed condition. Even smaller online players I have used like koovs, greendust for smaller items like memories experience have been good in terms of delivery of right promised product. Online shopping specially prepaid when we pay in advance for product - it is all about customer trust and service.
Look at reviews of letsbuy.com on sites like Mouthshut. Any company's management should feel bad about these kind of reviews.

I also ordered the same product on 24th october before you. My product is not delivered yet and still there are no updates from them. I called to letsbuy customer care many times. Today they are saying like we will ship today and you will get by this week only till saturday. I don't know if that will happen.
Now website is showing out of stock for the samsung LED TV.
Let's hope for best.
Thanks Vikas for the feedback. It is my small effort to make as many consumers aware of things that they need to look out for when shopping. Many local shops/dealers also sell repackaged things claiming them to be new. I hope you get your TV soon in good form.

i too ordered this product on 24th oct.my product is still not delivered.also no updates from them.the product is delivered from some place in b'lore but we r still waiting for the delivery.i think something is wrong.v have never faced any problems with other online shopping like e-bay....this is the first time with letsbuy n v r sure something is wrong.
any further suggestions from u what can be done with letsbuy.they have really created a bad impression on customers like us.

@willg that may be a wise decision. One of the buyers Ashin from Bangalore today received his Plasma TV from Letsbuy and according to him TV came with glass broken. It was open in front of Courier company but they (courier delivery person) refused to take back delivery. He has reported problem to letsbuy and hopefully they will replace it. A bad experience for him as well. Also look at hundreds of negative reviews on Mouthshut. Better to avoid untill company improves on customer service and delivery.
even I had a same sort of experience - I purchased Samsung 32" LED UA32D5900EA from them. After nearly 15 days they shipped the product but to my horror it was a used unit and that too without a power cable. I complained to them ad after several days of follow up they arranged the pickup of the item. After product reached them they assured me to dispatch the new product within 24-48 hours.. this was the consistent reply that I received from them everyday I called them up. But after 7 days since product reached them I received a reply that it went out of stock and that they are arranging for a fresh one to deliver to me. This is very annoying and harassing for me since I am waiting for this TV since last 1 month without getting a chance to watch it for a single minute. This is really horrible and for sure letsbuy need to work very hard on their customer service and delivery chain.
Bought an Sony 32 LCD TV and product was delivered without a warranty card. Sony is refusing on providing any service or the free installation as i do not have the warranty card. Letsbuy is just making excuses for past week where they say its coordinated with sony and will be resolved in 24Hrs. I have all the call with letsbuy recorded. Should i also email to CEO about the whole thing that has happened??
@Ashish, @Aviral sorry to hear about your experiences with letsbuy. Now that we have made mistakes of ordering with such a company and paid money and if there is no resolution to concerns then best way is to make noise and complaint through as many channels as possible.

Let not buy from letsbuy.com I have order 2 mouse on 11-apr-2012. Still not delivered. Every time i contact them, I got conman reply "WILL DELIVERED IN 24/48 HOURS" I WASTE LOT OF MONEY IN CALLING ON THERE NUMBER, IN WHICH I WOULD HAVE GOT ANOTHER MOUSE FROM SHOPS. SO BY BY TO LETSNOTBUY.COM
